The family of former footballer Clarke Carlisle have said they are concerned for his welfare after being unable to contact him.
His wife Carrie said they believed he had last been seen in Manchester city centre at 06:00 BST.
Carlisle, 37, who has previously spoken of his mental health issues, spent six weeks in a psychiatric unit after he was hit by a lorry in 2014.
Lancashire Police said they were "extremely concerned" about him.

Let's hope he turns up safe and well.

It's so sad that these kinds of problems came to him after a genuine accident.

Clarke is joining the Forever Rs club this Saturday.

Without wishing to sound insensitive I'm going to be insensitive and say he doesn't deserve to be a part of it. By all means invite him down if it helps his recovery but he was an ok player for us who played around 100 games and totally ****ed us over to get a transfer back up north to be near his kids nine months before joining Watford.
