The family of former footballer Clarke Carlisle have said they are concerned for his welfare after being unable to contact him.
His wife Carrie said they believed he had last been seen in Manchester city centre at 06:00 BST.
Carlisle, 37, who has previously spoken of his mental health issues, spent six weeks in a psychiatric unit after he was hit by a lorry in 2014.
Lancashire Police said they were "extremely concerned" about him.
Let's hope he turns up safe and well.
