How many games did he last when he was in temporary charge at Huddersfield? If my memory is correct it was no more than 7 or 8 and they didn't do very well.

History repeating itself?

Didn't Hudson apply for the managers job when McCarthy was elbowed but was rejected in favour of Morison? Morison eventually brings Hudson in as coach and then gets the sack himself.

So the bloke who wasn't good enough before eventually gets the job. The mad, mad world on Cardiff City football club - or should that be Tan, Dalman and Choo?

In hindsight Morison should have been kept on, off the field rumours aside. But as he wasn’t the board’s short sightedness of appointing Mr Nice Guy is right up there with the many managerial cock ups orchestrated by those in power.

I’ve made the anology before; if anyone in an executive position in Tan or Dalman’s non football businesses performed like Hudson has then they’d have been presented with a P45 by now.

There are 2 weeks to the Wigan game. The cup match is a sideshow so they should ditch Hudson now and bring in a proper experienced manager in time for the Wigan game. Who though? There’s plenty out there so whilst they’re at it they can appoint a football consultant to source him.

No argument there Nin.

I wonder how many half decent managers would want the poisoned chalice that is the Cardiff City manager's job?

Doesn't seem a problem at revolving door Watford though.

There’ll be enough out there who’ll take it - as well as a saving from relegation bonus.

The downside to anyone of merit taking the job would be the spectre of the 3 window transfer embargo hanging over us.

Agree there are those out there who would take it, but sometimes just getting a job isn't enough if you have ambition.
