City's next manager

It would appear from reports that if he came to the club, Lamouchi wouldn't bring any of his previous entourage with him. He would instead get Bamba as his assistant which would be a very good move from Tan (at last!) towards bringing the fans back into the fold.

Those reports state that both Whitehead and Ramasut would retain their positions which is again not necessarily a bad thing to provide some continuity. What we don't want is that continuity stifling progress on the playing front. We dearly need a new approach/direction, and hopefully if it is to be Lamouchi, all power to him.

 

It looks like Sami is all but nailed on then - feels more positive now something may be at at last happening after all this speculation.

Great to have Sol on the team.... he always impressed me with the way he spoke and was always so passionate. That can only bode well and hopefully rub off on the squad.... Deffo a future manager for us.

Appointed just to the end of the season so a huge incentive to Sabri to do well and earn a longer deal.

Plenty of experience and a masterstroke to bring big Sol Bamba back into the mix with him too.
