After reading through a load of reports from the weekends match's one thing is becoming, not so much a excuse but a real life fact. ….. to many games in such a short time. It covers the aspects of 100 mins on the pitch every 72 hours or so and linked with a large number of back to back H or A fixtures. This could be very true for teams on the edge of the circle having to travel to extremes to get the match in. Although a cursory look at past fixtures doesn't seem to bad for city. Bournemouth do have the disadvantage of being on the South coast but not done them much harm?
Is it time for City to say … OK lets give the older [ or regular ] players a break! and play the young guns from the start instead of the odd 5 mins at the end when game is won or lost?
Tomorrow make a few changes to the starting line up ….. play 2 of the academy players from minute 1

At least with no Milwall fans, we won't have to replace hundreds of seats they have ripped up like we usually have to...

Last time they played here the Luckwell had to replace its windows and bar furniture and it wasn’t Millwall fans who put the windows through!! There was also trouble at the away game season before in Bermondsey with Bristol city fans going to crown court over it. It’s been a two way thing since the eighties.

Bloody 'ooligans!

just placed a couple of bets
GOT 21/10 CITY TO WIN and 8/5 MILLWALL TO WIN Millwall had hoped would be 5/2 ...11/4 couldn't believe the odds … favourites to win!!! so to help city out! invested £50 on Millwall and £30 on City … tempted for the draw though [ best was 21/10 ] ..

we seldom win games like this Rotherham was a case in question...……..

So for your 80 quid investment you'll get only get £93 back if City win and £130 if Millwal take the game - you obvioulsy can't win both bets.

That spread seems hardly worth the risk as a draw seems a very likely result in which case all your 80 quid goes down the pan.

YEP DONT WANT A DRAW and odds were very compromised … was expecting something like 11/8 .. 6/4 CITY and up to 11/4 even 3/1 millwall

I can be a happy man … Millwall win I win … City win I win [ a little bit ] A draw and City get a point!
CITY tend to trip over form lines like Millwalls… even with a different coach in charge...

£130 it’ll be then , we never do well against these types of team , as JGF said the previous game against Rotherham bears out that fact, and they were near the bottom.

oh f... just switched on late dinner and it was 0-0 and changed as I watched to 0 - 1 and another player we may have had an interest in doing the honours!
£130 it is then...…….

Yet another 45 minutes of complete and utter dog crap and we could and should be 2 down.

Slow, predictable, aimless, gutless and with zero creativity. 2 shots all half against another team who before playing us couldn't buy a win, they have had 7.

We are 2nd best all over the pitch.

So far Marriappa jury is still out for me, Moore a bag of nerves, Hunt shocking, Rowe shocking, Massengo not strong enough keeps turning back towards our goal in possession, Nagy and Bakinson trying their best but have zero back up, zero for Wells or Martin to have a go at.

We look utterly clueless.

PS:- Millwall never took the knee, did nothing other than line up in their start positions, the BCFC sheep all did take the knee.

This is awful - so pedestrian and predictable to defend against. We move it L-R always looking for the wing-backs, which Millwall know is coming, so back into the middle it goes, and then back to the back 3 who hoof it long. Terrible!!
DH won’t last long if this is all he has to offer, remember DH was the No2 for nearly 4 years before becoming No1, so he should be doing better than this as he he should know the players inside out, it was the only benefit of giving him the job....

72% possession, most of it in our own half, this is shocking, 20 minutes into and not a shot.

2 nil, embarrassing, Massengo caught in possession AGAIN.

If Holden doesn't realise that he needs a midfielder who can create chances, he is in the wrong job.

Relegation battle if the last months form and performances carry on.
Someone needs to explain to DH that if your team don’t shoot, it’s highly unlikely you will win a game:headbang::headbang:
