Wakey wakey. We do not pay sufficient money to sign anyone who is half decent. Whether it is Lee or Ehab it makes no difference. We are ****e.

He's pretty good, Palace have high hopes for him although at 22 we'd probably be his last chance to impress before they make a decision. I saw him for Brentford and he was that good Palace recalled him early. Charlton were **** last season, I'm not surprised he didn't score for them. He's a winger, so he's not going to have amazing goalscoring statistics anyway.

City fans get excited about pace because at present, we haven't ****ing got any.

But speed alone is pointless....

Also I would accept a terrible season and finish 13th. But I do get your point we desperately need some pace, but pace needs to be combined with other attributes. Otherwise you might as well sign me 26, and I've got a decent 100m time on me.

"Sulaiman Borbor "Sullay" Kaikai (born 26 August 1995) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Crystal Palace."

Then on the other side it says he is a winger.<laugh>

His Palace player profile is probably the best place to look - 'A product of the Palace academy, the winger burst onto the scene by netting on his first-team debut against Newcastle United in the League Cup in September 2014'.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you, Jamie Wood...

To be fair a loan move for Grosicki is expected more than a sale. I think his contract ends at the end of the season and then they can sign him for free. No point paying £5m or whatever Allam wants for him when you can pay a £1m loan fee and then offer him a perm contract on a free in January.

I thought he was on a longer contract with a release clause?

Transfermarkt says contracted until June 2020. Not sure if that includes the one year option the club always seems to include.

His contract isn't up at the end of the season, he's got another season after this one.
