Bit gutted about Wilson. It sounds like it was completely his choice where he wanted to go and he chose Derby.. It's fair enough, big club, exciting new manager and all that... its just a reminder that we're a bit crap and couldn't tempt him back to where he excelled last season.
 
Derby have Harry Wilson and Mason Mount this season. If those two click they will be a force to be reckoned with.

Big ask considering the competition.

They'll get some excellent loans, young lads like so far, but whether that's enough to finish above WBA, Stoke, Boro and Swansea. I doubt it.

Why?
Novice coach in a tough league.
TBH I've no idea apart from these two signings who else they have. If they've kept most of the usual lot I can't see fat frank been able to motivate them.

Lampard can talk the talk as a pundit but we’ve no idea if he’ll walk the walk. Neville (admittedly there were bigger problems at Valencia) couldn’t.

I like frank, think he's always carried himself well.
He may be a natural at the management game. Very intelligent and articulate, pity he's at derby as I don't like them.

The World Cup side show is over now for two whole days - have we not signed anyone - Mbappe looked decent, if we could get him and Modric & loan them out to Ferriby for a season, they could come good - worth a punt Ehab.
