He also confirmed Jordy de Wijs should be confirmed today.

Defenders I assume he means left back? We’ve got 4 centre halves now and I believe Burke can play at right back. Or maybe he wants another dedicated right back?
 
Surely we need cover for right back and left back. I think ehab will go for loans in that position though.

Good to know we're after a creative midfielder and a couple of strikers to replace Dio & Abel.

I think we will be looking for two full backs, on of which can also cover at CB.

Still think we need a tough CM
 
I think he will want another right back. Someone to replace Seb, a winger if Kamil goes and a different sort of striker.

Think Mannion might be in goal by September.
 
Burke joins Hull but deal way short of £1.5m

Reece Burke has joined Hull City on terms some way short of the reported £1.5 million.

The young centre back completed his move yesterday but at a third of the cost quoted in national press reports

In fact the fee Hull will eventually pay out for the central defender is around £500k which includes games played and promotion clauses.

The Hammers also have a 20 per cent sell on fee involved in the deal.

I bet we don’t have a sell on clause for Maguire who must be coveted by top teams given his World Cup performances. Not only do we sell woefully below market value, we fail to capitalise on any onward sales.

We were paid the right fees for Maguire and Robbo. We had just been relegated and they stood out in a poor team.

If we are basing the value of players on there performance last year we need to give Swansea about £6m back for Clucas.

Will be interesting if Maguire has a sell on clause though

Not sure how you come to that ? One year on what they worth now ?

We gave them away, even the buying clubs couldn't believe their luck, Leicester were expecting to have to pay £10m more for Maguire.

I actually thought the price for Maguire was fair all things considered. If Bruce would have ever let him play he'd either have been more accomplished at the time or he'd have left earlier with more time on his contract, either way we'd probably have got double.

to think City rejected two bids for Maguire of £4 million and £5 million just 12 months earlier - at the time Maguire was pissed at lack of game time and wanted out but we wouldn't let him go because of an already depleted squad - however he started 25 games in the PL under Phelan and Silva and he gained in reputation which eventually lead to a huge increase in transfer fee - the sad part really is that we didn't have a full season with Silva because the style of play and the players he brought in were a breath of fresh air
