The problem with Keane is that his promise was in full flow 5 years ago. Since then, he’s had some very bad injuries. The odds on him becoming a quality striker are shrinking the more times go by. He has other uses, his hold up play is decent. But he isn’t good enough to lead the line consistently at the moment.

It was something that crossed my mind end of last season, maybe he should look to change his game to another position, as I think these injuries have blunted his chances of being a good striker going forward. I hope I am wrong, but unless he suddenly has a purple patch and scores a few goals, hard to see his confidence rising.
It's the sort of deal Hernandez would want, I think he was always looking for more money than Championship clubs would be prepared to pay. Thankfully it doesn't look as he will end up at TWS.
