Plus he was in and out of the side imagine what he would of done if we trusted him to plate every game. He would easily have scored the same as Bowen and got 12 assists.

If the Allams are going to do it cheap we might as well try and pick up some youngsters and develop them. Worked out well with Maguire, Robbo and Clucas.
I am all for being negative about the Allams as their constant ability to ruin a squad and have to rebuild year after year means we have no chance of a decent season as the players will need time to settle and gel.
In isolation the signings seem decent enough. We need depth and lots of it though.
I really want a striker as Campbell and Dicko are very poor in my eyes if we want top half. But if the aim is to finish 21st they will do.

That’s actually good news did nothing last year and we can’t afford to carry a passenger in games .. his wages will cover two new players and a fee of maybe 2 million will buy 3 new players
Grosicki IMO is no great loss overall, he really is suited as a super sub in a higher Championship or lower EPL team. His past record in France shows that is what he was there, mainly a sub, but we cannot carry such a play in the Championship, on his day brilliant, but not consistent enough.
As far as buying players, I said on here a while back that from what I understand Ehab philosophy now is trying to buy younger players cheap, try to develop them, with the hope he can make a good profit, such as Maguire, Robbo & Clucas. The fact that the team wins is secondary to him is a bonus if it happens to work out, cash is king.

He did nothing other than score nine goals and six assists, putting him second only to Bowen, he’s obviously frustrating as a player, but it’s nonsense to suggest he contributed nothing.
If he was just going on holiday, I wouldn’t have posted that someone was in for him and he’s on his way for talks.
