Agree of course with some of that. But, Nige inherited an utter shambles of a squad last season. Its concerning that transfer progress is slow and being done with minimal budget, but to be fair, it seems to me that the squad is going to be way more crafted and balanced than last seasons random collection of players.
Team cohesion? You can’t keep on ripping a squad apart and fully rebuilding it last minute every season. Although this is the Allam way, probably more out of spite than anything else.
Bowen might get better, lichaj might score 30, turbo might prove he’s half decent. The team you named hasn’t got enough goals in it, that was my point chazz. We might sign Ronaldo then bingo!! Equally we might not sign anyone so

Apart from daws who scored a massive 3. Aina 1. Meyler 5. 4 pens I think.
Tbf I not going to think about bowen till the window shuts and he's still here, I honestly think he will go, the team as it stands doesn't have on paper enough goals in it but I also think it will concede less then the 70 ( I think that was it ) that we did last season. Dicko will score if given some service. I think Nigel will have signed senior(ish) players at the back and leave the loans to the attacking slots which will help us. We may get another Wilson or another young Campbell.
In my opinion yes and you’ve tried to prove me wrong by using last season as proof even though we’ve lost 12 players from the squad and 20 odd goals (potentially more if kamil leaves)

Of course. Its not ideal. But the sqad needed rebuilding; it was shambolic. And i'm fine with the twats slashing the wage bill if it means they can sell us within the next year, so long as they put in place a well crafted squad ( even it is on the cheap) which if we are honest it looks like they are slowly doing. We now have a very decent manager ( on and off the pitch) who knows what hes doing.
As I've said it's the same team. Apart from daws Meyler and Aina and Larsson who scored two.
They all contributed a small amount of goals. The players replacing them can equally do that.
