That's a decent side in anyone's book. We bringing in a few more by the look of it. We're not going back to the god like Steve Bruce days but we really aren't in too bad a shape.

That side smacks of relegation.

MacDonald/Kingsley/Stewart/Campbell all injury prone.

We have one RB and one LB a keeper that hasn’t shown anything in his time here to date. A centre half pairing that are strangers and an injury prone front line.

Not to mention no real options for impact changes off the bench.

I can’t share your optimism. I just see problems in most areas. Whether it’s poor form or lack of competition for places.

I think you're looking for problems. The midfield has shown itself to be effective.
Dicko, Keane Toral to add to that. Growshitski still here too. We will add by the look of it too. Don't know what position James plays.

We will get a couple of loans in too.

It really doesn't.

The problem's not in that XI, it's in a woeful lack of replacements.
 
On paper it may not look bad but One thing is certain there isn’t enough goals in that team, which will probably prove glp right

Yeah that’s a fare point but at least in the championship last season (last part) and the previous championship season we had Abel who was capable of 20 goals. I look at dickho and Campbell and think they’ll do well to get 20 between them
 
It's a strong mid table champ team, the issue is and will be depth...ATM we just don't have it. As much as it will disappoint a few on here I don't think we will go down. If we get the 2 over the line tomorrow then it's 3 solid if not amazing signings so far and I think we will see another couple permanent and 3/4 loans. It will be a boring season and most likely closer to bottom then top, but if that's what it takes for the thundercunts in charge to get their money back and **** off then I'll take it

How many goals did we score last year?

We had no problems scoring goals. We were scoring even without the return of Abel and h Wilson.

Can someone remember how we would have finished if nige had been here all last season.?

He kept us scoring and tightened the defence up no end.
Good manager.

If Batty and Curry do as well as Bowen this last season I will be well happy.
We can't complain we don't produce any homegrown youth if we aren't going to give them a chance. They have to be good enough and they will get the chance.
There is no suggestion there are any other u23's coming into the first team squad.

This midfield hasn’t shown anything. The midfield with Larsson showed something - Kevin Stewart? Jesus.

They won’t Geo. Abel needs replacing. We can know that from the evidence of last season.
