I'm sure Thudd and Davies would have given their comments after they left .. and if daft lad had some foresight instead of leaving things to the last months/ weeks of a contract ending he would have tied further players up on contracts where at least we would have got a decent value
Davies said he was ready. For a change.
Again, the player has to agree to sign and agree to the clauses.
Hence Evans going for 3 million, why would wba agree to that?

Oh fair enough. Well either way it won’t be a problem, the biggest worry is when they are coming in.
This is the key point. Well get some in but the sooner the better.

If Ehab does fancy himself as Brentford/Peterborough type owner then he must surely realise the players need to be given a pre season to settle in.

Well they did agree to it when they signed him, they must be the second best run club in the country.

I' sorry but you'e either forgotten about the last two seasons or choosing to ignore them. We have for the past two seasos been a joke under daft lads stewardship with our pre season dealings leaving us threadbare. It didn' matter then about having them in for preseason .. what makes you think he will see that now ? Even Silva told him when he left not to make the same mistake again and what did he do .. made the same mistake again. The man is clueless .. simples

The difference between Perterborough/ Brentford and us at this moment.... IS..... they seem to have good scouts who can pick some 'never heard of him' player...

Peterborough have done it again and signed a goal scorer from Stevenage. They do have a good model, but they’re slowly pushing up their asking prices.

Problem is it’s not a mistake it’s a calculated short sighted business decision, that handicaps the footballing side

Priority’s I guess

What is there now about 15 days until the start of preseason and Nige’s target of having most of his signings in place
