I truly believe we have done our transfer business with signing the kids up!
Unless there is some seriously cheap free transfers going about, we won’t sign anyone!

It sounds like you're being overly moribund for the sake of it. Obviously we will sign players, we've barely got any senior players left.
 
My take on next seaons squad after seeing the kit launch:
Mannion
NewRB McDonald Mazuch Kingsley
Stewart Henrickson
Bowen Toral Evandro
Campbell

Stewart must have something about him as Liverpool resigned him just before he came to us unless they were just boosting his price. Strengthening and back up across the defence and some wide players would be nice.

The problem with that is you have at least 5 of those players who spend more time injured than fit. Campbell, Evandro, Kingsley, Mazuch and McDonald.

Most clubs (excluding ours) sign players to contracts to ensure they get something back on their investment .. bare in mind they'd been interested in Robbo and were sizing up a bid .. it will also have been discussed about Stewart being made available as a make weight in the deal they just used their middle and took us to the cleaners. Daft lad is seriously out of his depth when it comes to business acumen and the Scousers saw that, so Stewart was signed to a contract I suspect as a paper exercise to increase the alleged fee. If daft lad had any sense he would have done similar with the players we now see leaving out of contract. He is so short sighted I'd be surprised if he sees the end of that snout of his.

I'm sure Thudd and Davies would have given their comments after they left .. and if daft lad had some foresight instead of leaving things to the last months/ weeks of a contract ending he would have tied further players up on contracts where at least we would have got a decent value
