It's a sad state when Moses would rather chance his arm and reject a contract extension without securing a move elsewhere. With a potential move to Villa now in the balance due to their ongoing financial affairs its indicative of the clubs state that players are prepared to walk out after 2 years injured
Long gone are the days of loyalty!
Being out for 2 years( I appreciate it’s not done on purpose) but to turn down s contract offer without a guarantee that you’ll stay fit!
I’ve no idea what his contract offer was, but it should be up to him to justify having any contract offer and some loyalty to the club that has paid you and rehabilitated you.
What a ****!

..... even thought Nige stated he wants 2 per position, comprising 20 outfield players, plus goalies and a smattering of youth to making it, was it, 27 or 28 total for 1st team squad ....... and to have the squad in place by 25th June. That's what he actually said.
How long before he walks (or ideally fills in E-**** then walks)?

We know what the manager wants and what Ehab actually delivers will be a stark contrast. I’d say we’ll be lucky for 1 seasoned professional per position and the rest made up of juniors.

League one here we come!!

Got the impression from the interview that he knows what he wants player wise, but also i think its starting to dawn on him , what he actually gets ,is a different matter.

“I would have liked to have thought we would have got it done by today but it is close and there is a lot of negotiations going backwards and forwards,” Adkins told BBC Radio Humberside.

“When you’re talking about players you want to attract, they’re always trying to get, and clubs are always trying to get the best deal for themselves.”

“We [himself and vice-chairman Ehab Allam]had a very good conversation, we were together in the room for five hours.”, he added.

“There is a genuine desire to get it done but likewise you have to understand it is a challenging period as we all know, but we want to get it done early and we don’t want to leave it until the last minute.”

5 hours. ****ing hell.

Interesting interview. Says a lot that every senior pro we wanted to keep we failed to keep.

Key points for me are his references to’Robust’ players. Players we can get 40 + games per season from. 17 injured players when he joined the club 6 months ago.

Bad news for Evandro, Keane, Mazuch et al.

Reading between the lines Odubajo has probably been managed out of the club.

Another key moment for me was when he was asked a question regards players been offered contracts, he replied you better ask Ehab, where have i heard that before.

As much as it will pain everyome on here, if we are logical and honest then we would understand that when greggsy was offered to go back and finish at rangers, daws at Forrest and seb In Sweden...no matter what we offered they wernt going to stay.

The other though have left due to ehab being a dumb useless ****.

Little side note.....looks like Clark's agent is being a twat as well

What a ****!

So you have no idea what he was offered but you think he's a **** ?

Normally when you come back off holiday you feel refreshed and upbeat, well Nigel sounds far from that, as OLM said he doesn't sound very convincing on how things are going about recruitment.

Really sad about Moses leaving, I just hope he gets another contract and goes on and has a really good career, and somewhere down the line gets sold for a big sum, just to piss Ehab off.

So we signed McDonald?!
Out at Barnsley. Celliac with iron problems. Now out again (shoulder).
Not a bad player, I like him, but he won't be 'robust'.

There's zero ****ing chance of him leaving, whatever happens this window.

I hope you are right.
He's going to look pretty damn stupid, and will have been badly let down. the way things are going.
An honorable man can only take so much.
Let's see.
Edit: Now listened to the full interview. He's a good guy, and I'd really like him to have the opportunity and proper backing to be instrumental in the rebuilding of our once great club; on and off the field. He get's it. He's also very positive (as we know) and resilient which are great strengths. Him and Adam, with a suitably wealthy, well-intentioned (read 'not a ****') backer could be near enough to a (realistic) dream ticket for us.
Hopefully he can find a way through the **** storm that the Allams have created and will likely continue until they finally **** off. But I do believe that if he's thoroughly ****ed over this summer, which is a clear possibility, he would just walk .... unless maybe he knows they are going in January.

I think that is half the issue, it can work having a small squad but not when half of them are injured all the team and some of them have never played a full season in their career (Keane, Mazuch etc..).

You have to factor that in, but there is not a chance we will. Of course all squads get injuries but you can't really on players who have suffered injuries time and time again.

Pacifying fans now
Delaying tactics
We’re trying our hardest honest
**** off

no different to appointing a new manager after Brucie ****ed off - no different to the way they dealt with the Supporters Committee - they're very easy to read really - threats when they want something , delays when they don't- hardly the weaponry of the seasoned negotiator with business acumen more like the playground bully who behaves like they do mainly because they are socially inadequate and have difficulty expressing themselves and can only get their own way not by conciliation but by confrontation - pair of no mark ****ers at the end of the day
