Harry Wilson has apparently rejected a move to Rangers. He's got offers from eight Championship clubs, presumably we're one of them.
Never say never, even these idiots running the club occasionally get something right. But I do agree it’s a very slim chance of us getting him back.
Departing player update: Dawson - expected to announce he's signing for Forest at some point this week. Hernandez - We've now pretty much given up any hope of keeping him. Clark - No change on his contract situation and he's weighing up better offers from elsewhere. Odubajo - As above. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...news/hull-city-skipper-michael-dawson-1616767
Wow I've not been in this page for a while, had over 100 posts to read, still not an inch further on than the last time I looked.... I'm off back to bed... it's like ****ing deja vu every transfer.....
Dawson is almost at the end of his career - not the future of Hull City - thanks for the memories and good luck Abel was never going to stay- never a PL striker except in his head Clark - hope he signs- could be a good prospect - too many unforced errors Odubajo - been a sick note for last 2 years - no guarantee there's still a player there or not not too concerned with the losses it's just who comes in that will determine what level of football we play next year - bearing in mind the two clowns in charge I don' expect any better or worse than last season
It is, as you say, all about who we bring in rather than who is leaving I fear the worst though and don’t expect that signings will be an improvement from those that are going, particularly Abel.
Abel and Dawson leaving I expect is more to do with the wage budget, both are on circa £30,000 a week. I'll guarantee Angus McDonald in on less than half that. If we're aiming to attract players from the lower divisions and give them something like £8k-£12k p/w, it frees up a decent amount of money. It also leaves us with gaping holes in the squad.
