I highly doubt we'd be loaning anybody from Rotherham or Wigan, they've just come up from League One. Any half decent players will be in their first team. Leeds is a possibility, or maybe Sheffield Wednesday. EDIT: Sheff Weds didn't play tonight, so I don't know.
LD: Right, I have found a great central midfielder, very composed when it comes to penalties...called Kevin Stewart. I saw him play last night NA: Lee, he already plays for us, you attended our match last night. LD: Oh, yeah I knew that. Well, in that case I am going to give him an extended contract and give him a pay rise, in case any other scouts saw him play last night, as they will have been as impressed as me
Ranked! Every Championship club by their summer transfer business 23. Hull please log in to view this image Under the widely despised Assem Allam, cost-cutting remains the focus at Hull following relegation from the top flight. Several staple members of the first-team squad left on free transfers, with Abel Hernandez, Michael Dawson and David Meyler among them. An entirely new centre-half pairing of Reece Burke and Jordy de Wijs will take time to develop an understanding, but worries already abound with another difficult season in store. https://www.fourfourtwo.com/feature...-summer-transfer-business#ROIPVDZK5rfOM5gk.99
Think 23rd was overly generous personally, Weds, while not signing anyone have shifted some big earners without losing too many of their key players and as a result should be a place higher
Now is the time to see what our academy players can do - they did themselves proud vs the blades and I suspect Adkins knows that with the limited squad, they'll have to step up in the league too
First one I came to. Evening standard. " West Ham defender Reece Burke has left the club to join Championship side Hull in a 1.5million deal. A product of the club’s academy, Burke has spent time on loan at Bradford, Wigan and, most recently, Bolton. 1.75 million on transfer market
A few decent free transfers are floating about. I'd take Stephen Quinn as a supplement to missing out on Norwood. Glen Johnson would also provide decent cover at full back, although he's been linked with the MLS. Bakary Sako is also available, decent attacking option at Championship level. JET would also be an option.
I can't see anybody in this country offering him that kind of money. He isn't that good that he should be demanding that. He'll have to go abroad for that.
Sako would be great, but no chance of him coming here. JET's double plus ****e too. If Quinn's fit enough, I'd have him back.
Quinn was great for us, but I don’t think he’s played for about eighteen months, I wouldn’t be surprised if he retired.
Defend Adkins support the team and go to the games but if you honestly think the players we've signed cost anything substantial you are delusional. Even Millwall can outbid us for **** sake.
