I'll take 12 points. Don't care where from.

That will be enough to keep us up. <ok>

Newcastle drop 2 very late points but IMO they’ll be well clear at the end.

Don't understand how Carragher can discount Burnley from the drop.

They bludgeoned their way past Brighton on the weekend but are worse cloggers than even we've been accused of.

I tend to agree about Palace though - a very good side that's underperformed and been unlucky quite a few times this season. They should be OK but I'm sure this last dozen games are going to throw up some surprises and talking points.

    OGS is useless.

No fear of Man U last game.

Id settle for outside the bottom 3 last game by a point if offered.

    Southampton forums are in meltdown.

Our fans will back us to the end. Not the case with some of our rivals.

Our support and team spirit could just pull this off.

Agree about Solksjaer - don't think the Man U revival has got much to do with him, the players are managing it themselves now Jose has gone.

Nevertheless they remain a formidable side that could take us to the cleaners up there like they did at the CCS - they were all over us. Wouldn't want to go there needing all the points.

Agree with everything else Hilts. <ok>

    With you on that hilts.

As we get to the pointy end of the season I think our fans will help take the pressure off where at other clubs their fans will pile the pressure on.
    Pressure can do funny things.

Just need to hang on to the shirt tails of the teams just above us and keep the pressure building.

A similar situation at the other end of the table last year. The pressure got to Fulham more than it did us.

In our hands last game. Definately take that. I wouldn't fancy Southampton turning Huddersfield over anyway.

I'd rather it be out of our hands before the last game. I mean sorted that we stayed up and there's no reason we can't do that.

As regards Southampton not turning Huddersfield over in their last game - I wouldn't want to have to rely on that.

Our home form is the key. Aside from Liverpool and Chelsea all genuinely winnable with some more so than not.

And away essential not to lose to BHA and Burnley.

Don’t forget our rivals have to play top 6 teams plus their own 6 pointers.

ps it’s about time we beat West Ham at home<whistle>

I would take a point against Watford and a win against Everton, 4 points for at this point would heap pressure on those around us.

Sayer - I'd take those 4 points the other way around too. :emoticon-0105-wink:

The first 2 games in March are also both possible point earners. Away to Wolves shouldn't hold too many fears given past results and home to West Ham where it's about time we got something from them. Nothing's going to be easy but these next 12 points are all up for grabs.

The "super computer" says we will only get another 5 points altogether this season - I can see us bettering that over these next 4 games.

The super computer doesn’t take into account the spirit and team ethic engendered by Neil Warnock and the City support.

Any more spineless and pathetic displays like that and we will have no chance.

    Bleeding lucky Burnley.

Should never have been a corner :emoticon-0130-devil

They have had more luck in last 2 games than most get in a season.

    Disastrous result.

If Brighton were playing they’d probably win the way this torrid weekend is going.

Looks like this is going to be another one of those weekends that go the wrong way because of our own failings - you can't blame the other clubs for us being so poor.

What really pissed me off about last night was people talking during the game about saving ourselves for Tuesday. <grr>

FFS, this should have been all about last night and the 3 points on offer - bollucks to Tuesday that will take care of itself.

There'll be some better sets of results as we go down to the wire no doubt but we need to stop faffing about and take something from our games rather than being concerned about the next one coming up.

Dwelling on it after a morning on the golf course and then the bar, with hindsight of course, City should IMO have gone all out to strangle Watford in midfield and if it had been 0-0 then I’d have taken that.

What we ended up was a mysterious selection and bewildering tactics which were neither one thing or the other.

I bet the manager hasn’t a clue what team to put out on Tuesday now <whistle>
