Well what about that? Topic for the prize money was "Hull" and one of the options was to name any member of our 2013 promotion winning team. The contestants avoided the City question though and went for Beautiful South Top 40 hits - won the jackpot with Blackbird on the Wire. Measly £1250 though.

Hull and Hull City AFC has just been a topic for the final round on Pointless. Never started a thread before.

I said a fair few names.

I would've said Fryatt for certain.

I would'nt say the others because to me they were too obvious and imo someone had to say them. Especially Macca - he even scored on the final day ffs!

Though I wouldve got a pointless for The Golden Compass and a couple of the Beautiful South songs.

I remember seeing one of the shows where the question was "what's the currency of these countries?", and the UK came up.

It got 99. So somehow 1 of the people asked didn't know the name of the currency of the country they were in.

One thing I only found out the other day was that Richard Osman (that tall bloke with glasses who confirms the answers) is the brother of Mat Osman, founder member and bassist of Suede.
