I think Lucas got undeserved flack even back then.

Lucas would play decent for most of 90 mins- but have a couple of terrible mistakes that were high profile. It's not that Lucas is alot better now- it's that he cut the mistakes out.

You could see, even then that Lucas had potential.

It's not that Cissoko just makes mistakes... he doesn't really have anything to his game! He will, and is, improving. I don't think he will be good in the role before his loan expires though.

I felt very sorry for him lastnight, particularly at the point when Suarez bollocked him (I knows he bollocks everyone) and gave him a look of pure disbelief

He just seems well out of his depth, he just doesnt look good enough at all

    When is Enrique back!!!!!!!!

Sakho or Agger can play LB when they return.

I think BR should have a bit more faith in Kelly. He has been out a long time but before his injury he was a regular as Johnson was playing LB. As Flannagan has proved he can play there then Kelly can come in at RB.
Failing that then put Agger in there...would rather sakho play in the middle to be honest.

Cissokho -benefits naturally left footed, good athlete, will tackle

Non benefits- useless pass, heavy first touch

I say he's got 18 games to earn a chance to play next season,

if he's got any games to actually secure a LFC deal I'll be utterly shocked.

The thing is if enrique wasn't a player i would put as below top 4 quality but good I'd think about him as a really cheap bench warmer but as it stand we need to be going after a real top 4 LB.

We can carry a weak full back sure if the rest of the team is good....so buy two CMs in summer /this window first please.

Possibly the most annoying thing about Cissokho is if anything, he looks to be a real athlete. But he looks so slow and lethargic.

He was positive today, defensively especially. He's got a long strong body that he can throw around with some momentum. Sterling, swapped over to his side, helped him focus on defensive duties.

There's an endearing naive quality about him - he really wants to do well for a loanee and maybe his nerves have been shortchanging his already modest abilities. Loved seeing him get on Wilshere's face. Attaboy Cisko <ok> Show Glen Johnson what mere desire can do!

    Here is a question then:

Would you rather have Half Arsed Johnson or Cissokho at LB?

Half-arsed anyone should be a nonstarter at Anfield. The type of game we play requires maximal application physically and mentally.

I'd rather be playing Wisdom at RB and Flanagan at LB than either of them two.

He may not be the best (far from it), but it does appear he gives it 100% and he wears our Liverbird on his chest, therefore he'll always get my backing!

He has improved but, then, when you're the lowest of the low there's only one place to go! I'm exaggerating, but, if you've been one of the worst players, the only way is up. He gave it all today, so fair play. Let's see how he plays in the next 2-3 games. <ok>

People are being very harsh on Aly.

He was a great LB only a few years ago, playing in the CL and getting attention from around Europe. He's not out of his depth or lacking ability. There's a very good player in there which Rodgers needs to find again.

Yeah, he has been playing ****, but I also think it's easy to keep a negative reputation. Most players will make one or two mistakes a game but when you're expecting it already, those same two mistakes become more memorable. He's done very little wrong the last few games and played alright which is an improvement but, above all (I've said this before), puts in 100%. Johnson can f**k off. Aly can start all day until Enricky is fit again because he cares. You can see it in his face when he screws up, he's hard on himself. He needs a confidence boost but needs to find it fast.

Seems to be improving, I did love how Wilshire lashed out at Coutinho(?) and the big man went right up to him to let him know that **** won't fly. Def was diggin that by Aly, we seem to have a good chemistry in the team right now and long may it continue.

Cissokho has actually played very well defensively. Still garbage going forward but as long as he's defending well, I'm happy.
