Who has had theirs yet this year?

Got one planned tonight with the work lot in town. Free bar, free grub and free taxis to the venue all paid for by the gaffer. You can't ask for much more in this day and age. I might even have a few pints in fitzies if I can still stand up by the end of it.

Have a good night everyone and stay safe

Ours is tonight as well.

Same as OP all laid on, ****ing nice venue as well, surprised they’ve been allowed to book it out on a prime Saturday.

I will be in poor shape tomorrow. Poor being an understatement.

Out 'works' christmas party was last night, at Ramside Hall, but I've got nee idea what it was like 'cos I don't enjoy them with my workmates so I was 'double-booked' . . . . preferring to go out with Mrs. A. 'cos I quite like her :emoticon-0100-smile

The 'do' was all paid for, but there's always a point (about 10:30) where the company owners make us feel obliged to buy a round, and with there being 15 of us that could easily cost upwards of £80 'cos most are on shorts by then . . . . and I'd rather spend that on Mrs. A. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Another thing is that it would cost a canny bit for a taxi there and back to 'Sheels (otherwise one of us wouldn't be able to have a drink). Everybody else lives around Seaham and they book a mini coach which is paid for by the owners, but they wouldn't pay for my transport . . . . they don't like me, do they :emoticon-0106-cryin

My Xmas do was through the dark side last Saturday. Me another lad and 9 women. 4 of the lasses are worth hanging out of as well. Canny night.

Been retired 4 years but still go with the lads on the piss
Friday before Christmas
Great day/ night in Durham last night

We had ours last Thursday at the Ivy, clifton. Food and drink free and the boss ate and drank as much as all of us from 12.30 till about 5.30

4 pints after the do with a couple of the lads and the last train home.

Can't complain for the total outlay of £25
