Very hard to watch. Had a really sgit couple of days and I've not slept, that tipped me over the edge. Had to stop watching before I broke the no crying over football rule.
That wasnt football though mate, it was life. It's just a reminder to not get hugely upset about a performance or result.
Those scenes shook me up real bad.

pleased to hear he was sitting up, alert and awake at hospital...more tests on him to come obviously.
hope he makes a full recovery and i guess all our thoughts are with him and his family, regardless of 'your team' you cannot help but feel for the lad.

It was the toughest thing I’ve ever watched I think… but I couldn’t stop watching it. I’m screaming “get the ****ing cameras off him” but still watching every minute. Maybe just desperate to see him sit up, move voluntarily or something. It was harrowing and made me feel sick.
After witnessing that close-up, i'm pretty sure if I was one of those players or even an official I'd make sure that I had basic first aid training. Those few seconds before the medics came on could make all the difference. Should be standard procedure now, you could save your mates life. I'm sure the Captains actions mattered.
