One of the first thing CH did was to try and shore up our defence, and during our little run, it seemed he had managed that. The signing of Bassong was a great move. When he is missing, we look very dodgy at the back, Bassong seems to bring out the best in other CHs as well, like Turner

Bassong, as a teenager, I believe, and a recent £800,000 signing for the development squad, ended up going straight into the first-team and being our best player the year we went down. We had a 606 forum Bassong Day, where he'd mutilate Chuck Norris and keep the Earth in orbit with his mind etc. He then left for Spurs and got stuck on the bench, a real waste of talent. Shame we didn't sign him back really because he's a very good defender.

We love him. Talk already of him being the fans player of the season

Good, you must carry on the fine tradition of Bassong Day on your board! <ok>

Mike Williamson Day is a bit underwhelming after you've had a Bassong Day, so hopefully you'll never have to get the party hats out for that...
