chops would rather go drinking and gambling and just go through the routine with cardiff, he is on high wages so he dont care what happens to cardiff and it shows

Superswan...you may be right...but I think you are forgetting he had an injury prone season, added some weight, and struggled to get it right. A full preseason under a new manager may be just what is needed. I would not suggest he does not care about Cardiff...he has shown often enough in the past that he does.

Siam, if he wants to go let him. his passion needs to be with you and not else where. you can and will find the right replacement for him. there are loads of young quality strikers out there. desperate to show their worth.

I know he had injuries, one from a very poor Donnie tackle (if it was that and not a blatant hack) but there was something missing from his game - lack of sparkle, not getting into the places where he had previously been successful or maybe the evolving style of play didn't suit him. We certainly didn't get the ball in the box as quickly as in previous seasons.

When our new boss arrives, I think he should give Chops another chance. You don't suddenly become a bad player unless there are other influences or you just don't want to be at the club. Up to the new guy to find out what makes Chops tick and then draw the positives from that.

Any new manager worth his salt will want to run the rule over all the players at the club and assess them for himself. After the new guy comes in he needs to spend at least a month evaluating the playing staff before he makes any decisions, the want away players have gone lets give the new guy a chance <ok>

Ipswich fan in peace. (Never really sure why we say that) Always preferred you guys to that other lot.

Is he really that bad guys. We have needed a decent striker the past few years and he is seen as agodsend should we get him especially at 1.2m.

I hear he has off pitch activities but he always appears to have the right on pitch attitude.

You seem to be in for a lot of change this summer just like us. The exit door seems to be as full as ours.

hi Mark...with a name like 'fatboy' you could be chops No1 fan if he joins you :)

WHEN he's on his game, he can be a nightmare for any defence at Championship level but that 'when' has gone missing. As said above, whether it's through injury, his attitude, no longer being first choice, I don't know but I think a new manager could turn him around. He's got a lot to prove to a lot of Bluebirds if he stays. Personally I'd like to see him stay and work his nuts off to make up for last year. If he comes to you and PJ can get inside his head, he'll do ok for you though I'd stop short of saying a godsend.

All the best Tractor Boy <ok>

Cheers H Bomb, would like to think of myself more as the Fatboy Slim rather than a Micky Quinner.

And when we have had to put up with Jason Scotland for all of last year anyone is a godsend

    Cheers pal
