Off Topic Chips

I've always found with Chinese's that they're all just ok. Never had a really bad one or a really good one.

I'm struggling too, they all seem ****e. Maxim was really nice when I was on park lane but it's been through a lot of management over the years so couldn't vouch for them. I just go to the one on eastboune road cause it's close and they do a good Singapore chow mein. But like everywhere round here if it has a sauce then it's got glutin powder overload to the point the sauces are congeal solid into a sauce brick as they cool. Rank the Chinese in our town.

Best chips are done in beef dripping.
Well to be honest Jimmy I thought I would agree with you but me and our lass had fish and chips at Rick Steins last year and our lass had binned hers within 10 yards of the door and I lasted about 50yds and mine went in the bin nowt like the ones my mam made in an old chip pan with a basket these were ****.
 
If anyone is ever in Sea Rd. Their fish and chips are now ****ing superb. Huge.
