Will do. As it stands we've had a number of offers of things for auction. We're just trying to work out the best way to go about getting the best returns from them. Hopefully we'll have something out sooner rather than later.
35 grand is a fantastic amount and I'm sure the family will use it in the best way for Chris and their own wellbeing. Just scrolling through the contributors gives a real understanding of how much Chris was respected. Plenty of older fans, like myself, who were just in awe of him as a player, but also ex-players who appreciated his contributions to their own careers. Coventry Former Players Association as well. Fans from other clubs who maybe just remember the name. It's humbling really. A great response for a great player. Good luck to all the family. I'm sure you're all really proud of Chris. Don't forget to look after yourself anarl.
I think there is also a lot of donations from people like me who never saw him play (before their time) but realise what he did for the club and just wanted to give something back.
I e.mailed tiger leisure today asking when my order would be ready and got told they're waiting for the stock to arrive.
Margaret Chilton interviewed by Chris Sutton and Robbie Savage... a hard listen.... not just for us as City supporters but anyone going through that horrible experience... bless you all...
How sad and emotionally devastating to listen to Margaret Chiltons description of trying to cope with her husband's dementia with virtually no help from the PFA. This great player and all-time Hull City legend is now living in a world of darkness and his poor family are bearing the whole burden of his care. Where are the footballing powers that be in cases like this ? Where are the multi-millionaire owners of our Club who squander fortunes on their cars, yachts, and social pleasures ??? May our Heavenly Father lay his hands upon you Chris and bring you and your dear family peace from your torment. Thy Will be done !!!
A few people connected with City just wanted to say a thank you for all that has been done for Chillo in the past few weeks. https://youtu.be/w5Ly0FrNqFk
Not wanting to detract from Chillo, but I thought this was about the best place for this. Rugby World Cup winner Steve Thompson reveals he has dementia and joins landmark legal case. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2...ia-landmark-legal-case?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
They are mentioning that this could be a hidden problem in rugby. They were referring to union but any evidence of it in league where contacts are just as hard?
