French Bred up to 2.5 Chasing miles at Cheltenham always do well, 1&2 that was impressive from the Mullins horse..............Peddlars Cross................Blackpool Beach for him lol lol lol
 
You telling me he wouldn't have stayed 3m yesterday?


What a ****ing horse he is. All class over fences.

To be fair to O'Leary he very nearly won both races
 
Peddlers Cross showed exactly the thing we feared AGAIN: - He is not a big horse- he looke dwarfed by these chasers, he jumps neatly but not big, and therefore he loses ground every time. He's a hurdler through and through in my eyes now. 4 runs we've seen those traits- he's neat, tidy, and has an engine and is a proven top hurdler. It did Big Bucks no harm going back to hurdles!


RE Sir Des Champs - Oddy I left him alone today purely on my belief that he is a 3 miler. Today proved he can cruise as well- I don't want to get too carried away but if he stays fit and healthy, he might be a Gold Cup runner in the next two years. Gutted that he won the wrong race for me <doh> haha but I love him, smashing horse. They just have to cajole him because he's a lazy sod. When he wakes up he stays all day.
 
What was with the Nicholls horse? Starting to seriously worry about the yard now, christ almighty hope Big Bucks ain't affected.

I agree PC should go back over hurdles - he's never looked a natural over fences for me
 
Agreed Topclass.

He jumped well at the start but as soon as one went a little wrong that was it - he had no chance. Wish i'd followed head not heart with that one.
 
Did we just see next year's Gold Cup winner in Sir Des Champs? Nailed on to get the trip IMO, impressive win.
 
It's gonna be one of those days - I had 3 in the placepot in the first - Sir Des Champs, Champion Court, Solix - and I went and backed Solix <doh>
 
Nothing to do with peddlers being no good over fences. He is not the same horse since his champion hurdle second. Said that in my preview but still backed him lol
