Off Topic Chelsea

Funny, isn't it, that the two clubs with yank owners make the most diabolically bad transfer market decisions imaginable. Had this on a footy WhatsApp group with a manc "fan" (good fishing in them waters, I tell ye) who said about lack of support from the Glazers. Yeah, they take a lot of cash out and are basically American Mike Ashley's. But I had to remind him of the transfer fees for (takes deep breath): Antony, Sancho, Casemiro, Maguire, Lukaku, Bruno, Martinez, Wan Bissaka, Varane and Van De Beek. That's about £650m alone. He then whinged about "yeah, but it's instalments so future owners carry the debt" and I was like "what, like every other club? Besides which, you were moaning about investment not structure of deals".

Fcking bellends. Man U & Everton fans are the same. Whiny bitches who live in the shadow of their neighbours.
It’s a beautiful thing to see unfolding from a number of angles. So much **** came our way when our takeover went through and just as that was starting to tail off (as per usual with these things after a week or two), we then go and appoint of all people (gasp) Eddie ****ing Howe, or I quote “That bloke who took Bournemouth down”. All of a sudden we were a laughing stock again after Emery turned all of our dirty oily billions down. Merson, Simon Jordan, Gaby Agbonlahor were literally wetting themselves….and then we went and bought Dan Burn and got Matt Targett on loan (I must admit I momentarily had a WTF moment at the time). Fast forward a year and a £200m + outlay on a few players and they (the media) still can’t ****ing bring themselves to give us the credit we deserve. Manager and player of the month awards will attract the usual and customary column inches as they would for any other manager/player but beyond that (other than Shearer winding Linekar and Wrighty up on MOTD) we barely get a mention. Miggy is on fire, Joelinton is a player/beast reborn (recent indiscretion aside), Bruno is just ridiculous and Botman is absolute defensive royalty but very little is ever said about many of our players outside of post match performance reviews. I for one couldn’t give a **** quite frankly, it pleases me on a number of fronts. I’m happy that we’re going about our business quietly and professionally but the best thing about it for me is that they (the media again) will just carry on as they are as to do anything other than that would involve them eating a huge slice of humble pie washed down with a gallon of salty tears!

And the very best thing about this all is that we’ve only just started. We haven’t even bought the massive tin of grease to oil the wheels of this machine that is gonna ****ing steamroller all in its path for years to come! All we’ve done for now is buy a little tester pot of grease (a bit like those little paint tester pot things) just to loosen things up a bit to see how well this thing could run….it’s ****ing scary is what it is!

I’d love to know what Fat Mike makes of all of this…I really would!

I don’t think Fat Mike would give two ****s. It was a nice little investment that he kept ticking over with little effort and minimal expenditure from him and plenty of advertising for his true passion.

Nice:

I reckon things are even better than we think. I don’t believe there’s many better midfielders in the world than Bruno and Joelinton. The latter is honestly one of the best players in the world. I think we can be blinkered but we are in a fantastic place.

Really thought hiring Potter was an astute move from Chelsea, but perhaps everyone including me, simply underestimated how good Brighton's squad is.

Potter has players in all the wrong positions. They have also signed utter ****e.

Sterling is a joke of a player, he has been for years. Why the hell professionals in the game, even at the national level, rate him is beyond me.

Chelsea though have a way about them, whenever they seem to be in the ****, they always pull themselves out of it.

Was laughed at on the general board when Botman signed, I was buzzing about him. He was the player on here I kept repeating I wanted, he needed - NEEDED to sign for us.

He had a slow debut, then a rather slow start staying as a sub and then, he just clicked. His extra work takes pressure off Shar who is returning to his old self.

I felt that what Newcastle needed, desperately, was a strong, young, ambitious defender who was a proven title winner. He ticked every box. He's my favourite player

Botman is ****ing outstanding. But give Isak a chance too. You’ll see.

Pope, Botman, Bruno and Isak could well be the spine of the team for a few years.
For a combined £150m that is an absolute snip in my eyes! Chelsea paid that nearly for Ederson and Cucerella (who I think is an actual **** by the way)

They could be there for years to come…it’s ****ing scary how good I think Botman Bruno and Isak could end up being, Botman in particular!

The amount they're spending considering their position makes me wonder If they know the European money will be secured for them if you know what I mean .

this is my thinking. They are over spending by so much.. there’s only two possible outcomes…

1- they get busted for FFP abuse
2- it’s all irrelevant as ESL 2 is a certainty behind the scenes

the only plus point is that Pulisic may be sold so he could be an option for us.. maybe even a loan option to get the wages down.

He's knackered isn't he?
Got crocked in their previous game.
