540k a goal he would have cost us if he didn't sign that contract last season.

Nowt new there, were the shots from 70 yards out whilst his strike partner was in a load of space in a guaranteed goal position?

Don't know fella, just reading text updates.

Edit: Wickham has been pulled of at half time. WTF? he's capable of more than 45 minutes at this stage

Good luck Connor. Miss managed initially, hardly fans favourite, looked poor as stats suggest with a dog **** service for a striker.

Thanks for saving us end of 2013/14 season, at least give him that gratitude

Didn't give his fellow strikers any service either. Some of the worst decision making fueled by greed I've ever seen. He'd ignore putting a team mate through on goal in favor of a thirty yard shot that either goes wide or straight at the keeper. Did he ever score from outside the box? I'll not miss him. Shocking player.

lies, damn lies and statistics!

Sheffield wed and Leeds both paid a fee for his services when on loan (think it was around £1m total I read somewhere) so that brings the cost to SAFC down to around £7.1m! He still hasn't activated the clauses for goals in the PL and England appearance so we owe Ipswich nothing on those fronts! Makes the cost per goal less but still very high!!

You all know my opinion on him! I argued with many so no point starting that again! Wonder if I'll turn out to be right like I was with Catts!

Good luck to him. God only knows where we would be had gus not recalled him from loan!!

That bit doesn't make sense, regardless of loan fees fella, we made a profit so his goals didn't cost us a penny. The only way that is measurable is if you worked out his wage while here and as wage are only speculation I don't think they'll be much chance of that.

Is it any wonder when you drill down to cost per goal, I will take whichams half million pound a goal, ( secured club a fortune in 2013/14) how much altidore (donkey) graham (grafter but??) pound per goal ratio
