"Fit the profile" = an argumentative so and so who is like a dog with a bone. <laugh>

Bloody hell, Collins Woods....that IS going back a bit! I knew Stuart Batcup when I was a Mags Court Clerk many years ago though I had limited dealings with Malcolm Struel. But I do know Peter Llewellyn who is now a judge. Graham Jones from Smith Llewellyn (also now a part time judge) who I knew when he used to get down and dirty doing criminal work sits behind me at the Liberty. Lovely bloke.

It's a small world, and Swansea is a collection of villages I always say. :)

If you were at Swansea mags court, then you'll know Ceri Evans? very good friend of mine though retired and very much up in age now, I nearly got a job at Swansea mags, got to the final two for training as a court clerk, but instead went into the financial services industry, Anyway could write a book regarding the Legal village of Swansea, I still have many connections around the old place..............<laugh>

I know Ceri very well - a former colleague who retired a long long time ago along with Barry Hole who were both my mentors. Nice guy who I haven't seen for donkey's years. I hope he's well.

I joined the Court Service in 1986 at a time when they had just transitioned into only taking those who were legally qualified. I quickly learned that I hadn't learned a thing in university and even made the papers once when I made a massive cock-up. Good times. Lol. <ok>

Anyway....the long and the short of it is that Dai STILL doesn't know what he's talking about. <laugh>
