As a Club we have in the last two or three seasons attracted better quality players than we have in the past. My question is whether sufficient attention has been given by the Club Management to buying players who not only have better skills but crucially have character. Are they winners? Do they compete to the end even when things are not going well?
In an age when Premiership money can attract players to a Club from around the world it seems to me that the Clubs that will succeed will be those that identify in a potential signing the crucial ingredient of "character."
How do you rate the "character" of some of our recent signings?
