You should be asking the same question and giving the same opinions to yourself, knob head. I've had my squabbles with Chappaz but in general, the bloke talks sense and is one of, if not the most respected Geordies on here by most decent fans.
Now I have tiome (sometimes) for Chappaz - can be a pain sometimes but have time for his opinions most of the time. BUT - Your first point "Attention seeker" then you past an entire thread about him - bit stupid really. Then you call him a loner spending time on a forum (what exactly are you doing?) A made up girlfriend?? Better than the blow up one you've got eh? "Even those who don't like me should agree to this" Why should we agree? Are we not entitled to our own opinions?
While I do find the amount of Chapps earnest (if condecending/patronising) posts on the Sunderland board a little puzzling I think he's genuine. Unlike fake-cest who's every post seems to echo with the dull thud of a troll. btw I always think that Chappaz is like Tash would be if he took ritalin.
I like Chappaz as a poster. When we're not talking SAFC v NUFC, he is often spot on, impressed me greatly in the convo about the bankers bonuses last week (an area I know very well, but refrained from commenting on too much). We're all a little bit blinded in favour of the clubs we love, I am, and I have no problem with that (unless it suits, in an argument!). It seems since a few people stopped posting, the SAFC V NUFC posters have got along, had some good craic and articles in the build up to the derby. From Friday though, they're all ****s (until the fall-out from the game fades...)
The replies to this thread, tell me more about what members think of you, than chappaz in all honesty.
I laughed as well. I'm not sure. Whilst I'm not perfect, Tash often does some really, really stupid ****. One prime example is when he wrote on an application form for a job in a hospital that he "bleeds black and white" (no idea why he thought that was relevant). What's possibly worse is that he made a thread on here complaining and seemed unable to comprehend why it was inappropriate and why he was subsequently declined for further interviews. So yeah, whilst I'm not the sharpest tool in the box myself, I think it would need a lot more than ritalin. I've always, always spotted the same names popping up whenever arguments have kicked off, and funnily enough, once they stop posting (or at least refrain from posting), everyone gets along reasonably well. Although I do think people are more tolerable of cross-board threads on the run up to the derby which plays a part, but still. There are a lot of decent blokes on here who have time for anyone, but unfortunately, some people just are not built, and never will be built, for forums shared by fans of both teams. Some people are just stuck in their ways.
I think Chappaz is okay and no one ever gets a higher rating than okay from me. He often says things....okay sometimes says things....hmmmm should that be occasionally says things....right maybe I mean he once or twice has said things... thinking about it again I mean he once said something I agreed with . Seriously though what does Chappaz think about, after all the abuse he sometimes gets about red and whites coming to his defence against a 'so called' red and white's comments especially in Derby week!
I still think Chappaz is a knob........................................ But for Cest to single people out is wrong...............................there are quite a few of the ex mag posters who were in the same catergory........ Well it is derby week ya soft buggers.
