Freddie Woodman will re-join Swansea City for the 2020-21 season after the goalkeeper completed a second loan move from Newcastle, subject to international clearance.

The 23-year-old – who has also signed a contract extension with the Magpies – spent the 2019-20 campaign in SA1 and excelled for Steve Cooper’s side.

Woodman kept 12 clean sheets from 43 appearances, before a hip injury suffered against Leeds brought his season to a premature end.

I can imagine that we / the Club may seem ‘confused’ - the Yanks probably want out, it’s just a question if they should get out now or hang on in there longer to see if they can get a higher price.

Clearly, with the new guy introducing some money, they’ve chosen the latter option .... for now?
or maybe they think we can go further than the semis next season and actually go back up , making us much more attractive and expensive to buy

I have read that you have only offered £500,000 to Wigan for Jamal Lowe. They paid Pompey £2.5 million for him 12 months ago, and still owe us £750,000 of the transfer fee, so if you could see your way to increasing your offer to Wigan, they will be able to pay us in full !! He was brilliant for us, and the goal he scored at Wembley 16 months ago against Blunderland to help us win the EFL Trophy was sublime. He would be an excellent signing for Swansea :emoticon-0148-yes:

Could you lend us the £250k - you’d then receive the £750k, so you’d be £500k better off immediately.

The Yanks will repay you the £250k when we get into the PL <cheers>

I’ll do a deal with you. I’ll clean the Milton end after home games and we’re quits. :)

Potter was watching Lowe, days before he hot footed to Brighton. I wish we wouldn’t take the piss, go in with the 750k then perhaps we can up it to 1m with add ons.
