Llorente stories to Chelsea not going away. Maybe we should demand Batshuayi as part of the deal? Looked good in pre season for them.

Stumpy if you think the price we are is not a favorite to go down then your burying your head in the sand and putting us on a false pedestal....And the only time we were fancied for the drop was our first season...

Just where do you get your info from Dai <doh>
Every year save one we've been in the prem we've been considered relegation fodder and one of the favourites to go down by media and odds. No burying of heads there, that is the absolute truth. Other than the beginning of Laudrups second year, when even the betting world had high hopes for us we've been one of the favourites for relegation and nothing is new this year so how am I burying my head in the sand?

My prediction is the same as every other year, I predict that, once again we'll defy the odds and stay in the prem.

No blind faith either Dai but based on the facts and our reaction to all the trials, troubles, tribulations, blows and catastrophes the club has endured over the last 6 years and survived. We're a good bet to stay in the prem because we are a resilient, tough and tenacious little club with a never say die attitude as proven by our results our actions during our time in the premier league.

We are a good bet to stay up again Dai because of who and what we are <ok>

Talk of a trade with Leeds ... Wood for Bartley ... SOLD

Nooooooo!

Don't like the trade at all Breezy.

Woods is a hot and cold striker who needs to play regularly and also needs constantly attention. Don't see him performing at all as a 20min substitute and if does play and doesn't score he likely to sulk like a kid who's lost his sweets. Don't want him if Leeds gave him to us, too much like hard work.

I think Bartley has a lot to offer us and we shouldn't be looking to off load him at all. Hopefully he'll get his opportunity to shine this year and prove his doubters wrong. I like him and I think, given a run of games, he'll be a classy CB for us and the perfect partner for the down to earth Mawson. He can head a ball too, which is more than can be said for F*$@?"&^%

Are you serious about varane I thought he was a nailed on starter for real
Yes Pepe and Ramos are ahead of him in the pecking order. Might be a bit ambitious but with Clements contacts, could be good for both parties as the lad would get a good run in the first team.

Think you are mistaken. Varane and Ramos are the number 1 centre back pairing. Think Varane got injured which is why he wasn't playing. Theres another centre back at the club that played a bit last year and it wasn't pepe. Pepe has actually left the club even though he was a bit of a legend to the fans and it didn't end as well as it could have because of how he was left out.

Wales online saying that we are in talks to sign Negredo? He'd be a very good back up but I don't fancy him as the main striker.

Another forward is needed but in my view not a priority as much as bringing in quality defenders. Why leave Amat go out on loan before we have sorted out our defense is not good business but there again we seem to do this all the time....

Don't believe it Valley, its part of their end game. The cards are with them, they'll huff and puff and bluff only to come come back with a late bid after the season has started, the sneakt fekkers

I disagree, if the report is to be believed, they are still £10m off our valuation.

Both sources are Everton press. We've seen the river now so I think that they will put in a late bid, still below our valuation, to see if we'll bite, but they'll leave time in case we don't then offer £50m in the last couple of days of window leaving us no time to react. If was playing this game, to ensure that we have time on our side, I'd put a countdown on proceedings, say to run until midnight tomorrow. If they don't make an offer by then I'd slap a 'not for sale' sign on Siggy and end this while we have time left before start of season.

Gylfi has thrown his toys out of the pram, PC wants him gone. ;)
And so do I if this is true ..... His little speech after his award about the only way he would leave is if the owners forced him is making him look like a fukin idiot . Regardless , Siggy will be 28 I think next season and another year off his current contract ... We will never get the money we can get now for him so lets not wait ... tell Everton 45 million takes him now and start rummaging around in the transfer market

We all know Siggy is not a 50m player, this transfer window the figures quoted are obscene. Just look at Walkers fee 54m, mind boggling.

If we were offered 35m last August we would have snapped their hands off.
