If we sell Siggy last minute, which will probably be the case, I agree it would be inconvenient but I'd rather be inconvenienced than shafted.

Huddersfield 4/6 Favourites
followed by Burnley 5/4, Brighton 6/5, Watford 6/4, Swans 9/4

Every season we've been in the prem we've been tipped to go down so nothing has changed. Just like every other season I'll be betting on our survival Dai, I'll stake your house on it <ok>

I actually think you guys are in the running for going down this season.

At the moment i fancy Burnley and Huddersfield to be in the bottom 3.

After that though, Brighton and Newcastle i think will have enough and Watford for sure are not going down. Theres a few teams for that last spot imo and you guys are in there if sigi goes

Stumpy if you think the price we are is not a favorite to go down then your burying your head in the sand and putting us on a false pedestal....And the only time we were fancied for the drop was our first season...

Another player we dont need as a priority and lower league.........Get some defenders in ffs or we will be going down. We are so weak at the back that other clubs are rubbing their hands with glee and will exploit our defense with ease.....

We were strongly linked with him in January I think?

Trouble with the PL is that clubs, and fans in some cases, would rather a 'name' signing from Spain or Germany etc.

If you finish as the high scorer in the championship, then you are no mug and definitely have the ability.

All this " linking " is just made up to sell newspapers, and get clicks on the internet sites.
Wood was prolific for Leeds and is probably worthy of a chance at the top table. Fee would be hefty, no doubt.

What about Raphael Varane at Real Madrid could come on a loan deal ( Clement knows him) he cant get a game for them but is a real prospect. I am sure he would relish first team football. He has also captained the French team.
