How does it not surprise you. We wont get him as we wont pay the money, if we are going to pay it, which does scare me a little, then do it now before they try and ride on our back to sign him.
Seems like their manically swinging now and just trying to hit us off balance. As long as we know that we can duck and move and they'll never catch us. They should be concentrating on their own pre season preparations anyway, they play in Europe on 27th July so all this disruption has to be interfering with that.
Every season since we've been in the prem we've had to weather one storm or another, this one though has been the most fun by far.
As far as I'm concerned, as long as we get a RB, Striker and another AM whoever that may be (even if it means Siggy stays), I'll be more than happy. If Siggy goes we'll simply replace him but regardless, I wont be happy until we get another RB and striker.

I am not convinced we are going to sign another striker, the link I put up regarding Bony, states we are only interested if LLorente leaves. That would suggest to me he is going with Llorente and Abrahams and McBurnie as 3rd choice, isn't that strong is it.
Could be left wanting should Llorente have a long term injury and it's a distinct possibility of him not starting the season anyway .
Like Hartson says it will be Gylfi's choice and knowing his greedy past of waiting who will pay him the most He will be loving this with clubs raising his wages and he will keep that going as much as he can and then make his move leaving us too late to find a good quality replacement......I would give him a choice of either make a decision this week which club you wants to join or we will make the decision for you and you will stay regardless what other clubs offer......The clubs interest must be paramount and can no longer be kept wondering, If you are going then bloody go ffs and let us prepare for the coming season....

I agree, but just don't think they are prepared to spend the money, I can see 1 or 2 more payers coming in and that is it. A RB the one from Barnsley and another MF player and am convinced we will sign Viera. Just don't think we will pay the money. Can see us using Ayew as CF at some point this season.
I don't think Llorente, Abraham covered by McBernie is a potent enough force. Looking forward to seeing what Abrahams got though, but I'd like to see another proven(ish) striker in the mix.

Sell by date, set to the end of this week sounds good to me. No offer by then, no sale till next summer and that's the end of it.
If he wants to sit on his arse and sulk then he wont get picked and he'll lose his bonuses, his value and potential wages in his next job.
Dai I have to say, I am at odds with some and believe we need a new CB as I don't think ours are the best and whilst I do like Mawson and think he could be a class act, I just wonder how good Fernandez and Bartley can be. Not including VDH in this as I just think he is a crock and no other PL side would have him near they squads. I also think we need a RB. I see you say three I would take 2, but 2 players who we are looking to start not sit on the bench we have enough of those already.
I would also love another striker, just don't think we will sign one and would love a new wide player getting rid of at least 2 of ours to fund it.

Happy with Mawson but i fear if he gets injured because he is an attacking defender which i like then we are left with defenders that have been poor for the past two seasons. We all moaned every game how bad we were at the back last season and i want us to act on that......I could not care what Gylfi does now as we have Carroll who can take the corners and i want to see what he is like with free kicks so as far as im concerned Gylfi can fcuk off and enjoy his money....We will win more games with a solid defense because i think we have goals in us but to see them being cancelled out with poor defending is sickening....

Could be an 'Its the Wolf' story but least its not about midfield. I know Dai's not a fan but, I wouldn't mind him coming back, he's better than McBurnie and we don't know anything about Abraham other than he'd probably do well on X Factor or Britain GT.
I see this at Everton sticking their oar in to push us into selling Gylfi. Just a ploy to piss is off. If they are interested Huw better get his offer in now and stop messing around, then you will see if they are interested.
