We need a RB, another CB, 2 wingers as Routs and Dyer are still our best, two creative midfielder (with one as a top quality replacement for Gylfi), a top quality striker if Llorente leaves and another decent back up striker.
In my opinion , the best think that will happen to 11 million pound Mesa in his career is Britton and Makelele . I expect Ayew to be a force this season too . As long as we start off reasonable and are able to retain Clement without a knee jerk sacking ... I'm pretty confident .
I want us to stay in the PL for as long as possible. We require major surgery in some areas and need to improve the quality of our depth too. Our bench is very weak at the moment without Gylfi and Llorente.
Maybe ... maybe not regarding major surgery. Remember spending money doesn't mean a successful transfer and Baston is proof
http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...igurdssons-proposed-transfer-remains-13417190 No new bids on the table. Gylfi expected to be part of the open training session tomorrow?
Absolutely ..I expect Clement to put his stamp on the team now that he has had some time to work with the players over the summer without being thrown into the deep end ... with whoever he's got . Like I've said I expect Mesa , Abraham , Ayew and Narsingh to have brilliant seasons
As serious as a Priest waiting on a nun's pregnancy test . What the hell , I'm going there anyways ..lol
I see Baston isnt hanging back from having a go at Bob the destroyer! http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/borja-baston-how-bob-bradley-13415715
While we fart around in the transfer market, Huddersfield went out, got their players and will have their squad established and up and running for the start of the new season. If we lose Siggy late in the transfer window and then scramble around for a couple of players to fill gaps it should be regarded as a crime against football. We've learnt sweet FA from last season.
Players that never played together much . Bringing in a " Lot of Players " can be as much of a curse as it can make a team contenders . Little changes is better than big ones IMO . Look at our first year in the Premier . Most of our players we used we had from League 1 and the Championship and we did pretty damn good
But then, Leon, Rangel, Routs and Dyer were in their prime. We still haven't replaced them (we might have found Leons replacement) but Rangel 6 years ago is better than Naughton and as for our wingers, they're bang average.
True enough. As a guide I'd say 5 new players should be the max you have in a new season. However, Huddersfield have been shown to be far more organised and professional - probably because they have a German boss! That isn't meant as a sleight against Clement by the way, it's the silly buggers behind him who are unsettling the squad.
