I'd take Bony , but agree with the other 2 . I'd take Allen if I knew he would stay with us till his career was over with a sort of " Britton " attidude , but not at 20 million .But I'd gladly take Bony .
Joe is an upgrade on all of our midfielders, Bony will be a good signing at the right price. If he finds form, him, Llorente and Abraham give us real options and fire power up front. Thta's why it's crucial to get the right replacement in for Gylfi. As you say, Chadli is not the answer for Gylfi.
If we are really going for Joe, it suggests that Mesa hasn't impressed thus far. That being the case, I suspect we've moved from Viera not only because of the price £27.3m but also concerns that he may not fit in/adapt to the PL. Given that Chadli is a known quantity, he may be regarded as a safer bet, but certainly a downgrade on Gylfi.
Before we signed Bony I saw videos of him in the Netherlands and was excited about his signing and he did well for us. However he hasn't had much game time for the last two seasons, has suffered illness PL tactics have changed and I have doubts about his desire. He is also slow and whilst Llorente is also he seems to have more of a football brain in him which makes up for this.
Where did Sky get their info regarding our potential signings from. Paul Clement on the official Swans website has said he's not talking about our targets until the Siggy deal goes through.
http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/swan...t-stoke-city/story-30480564-detail/story.html Joe is apparently happy at Stoke although he doesn't say this in the article
Gylfi to Liverpool ? Being reported that Liverpool are second favourites to sign him in light of the Coutinho thing..... Bullshit or not - it would be hilarious if Liverpool gazump Everton due to their dilly-dallying http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/08/1...l-listed-as-shock-81-outsiders-to-sign-evert/
Not exactly true Phil, the owners chose to sell Siggy and not protect the club. They slapped the price tag on his head for personal gain instead of stating he was not for sale. We'll know at the end of the transfer window just how much of a threat the new owners pose to our club, but its not looking good so far. To use an American analogy. You buy a Nascar, if you want it to win races you maintain and improve its performance with better parts. Or, you buy the car so you can harvest its parts. Instead of maintaining and improving it to be more competitive you strip out its expensive components replacing them with cheaper options hoping that the replacements are good enough to keep the car circulating at the back of the race so you still get your %age race fees. Our owners, so far it seems, have bought us for scrap and are stripping out our expensive parts for profit. They are installing cheap replacements in the hope they can keep us ticking but no more. Problem is, I don't think they know what they're doing because already one replacement part, Bradley, almost blew us out of the race. The fact we are selling our Turbo injector, Siggy, and so far have only replaced it with an unspecified part that doesn't even fit our engine so needs to be worked, machined and redesigned before it can even e installed, Mesa, makes me worry that they are either stupid, or couldn't care a jot about us and are prepared to break us so long as they can squeeze the max profit out of us. The owners are leaving it very late to prove me wrong and redeem themselves. They have until the end of this window to show us who they are. They don't sell Siggy, fine, the sell and replace him with quality players, great, they sell him for any amount Siggy and don't replace him then we're up ****s creek.
Just get the deal done ffs, this is like a 'slow death'. Or preferably, as we've gone this far anyway, 'Klopp' make a move...
Opening your eyes might assist. Stoke is world famous for it's pottery, hence the nickname of the local football team, 'The Potters'. It has as much "identity" as Swansea City. Just ask their fans'.
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/08/1...-second-favourites-to-sign-24-year-old-bourn/ Afobe instead of Bony?
Sky sources understand Joe Allen will not be sold in this summer transfer window. Stoke have told Swansea directly they won't entertain any more offers for him. Pity we didn't have the same intentions with Everton over Siggy, we're a fvckin joke... Greedy Yank cvnts..
