Safe to say that Llorente will be staying then.

We knew this valley when the vaginas took over.dip their hands into their pockets and fund new signings.

100% right. Do we need Joe Allen when Mesa, hopefully, will fill the defensive midfield role, Tom Carroll the box to box role and Ki, Fer and Routledge to be the attacking midfielders. There are other positions, right back, striker/wide man who we need more.Maybe because they've ****ed about for so long their original targets have either signed for other clubs or are about to sign new contracts at their current clubs?
Ah well - look what's happening now thoughLiverpools owners have come out today and said their best player in not for sale too. As you say Swan, the silence from the club is deafening. We must be the only club trying to force out our best player, because, the owners are not prepared to dip their hands into their pockets and fund new signings.

Looks like Chadli is the strong favourite to replace Gylfi.
I challenge anyone to convince me he's better than Gylfi![]()

Two days before the season starts and we make a bid for Joe Allen. Why didn't we do it last month?
This is incompetence on a grand scale.

We've "gone " in for Joe knowing full well we won't get him but at least jerkins can say in his programme notes , "well we tried "100% right. I can accept them selling him, but it doesn't mean you have to weaken your team. You can bring in 3 better players than we all ready have and actually be stronger, but we just wont do that.Thing is, whoever we bring in to replace Sigurdsson if he goes, will be a downgrade anyway. Anyone as good as him will also have a massive price tag and already been scoped by the wealthier clubs. So, yes, Chadli is not as good, but that's what selling your best player means.... you are weaker as a team.

Yes his goals are a big loss, but if we are stronger in other areas and we concede less goals we don't need to score as many. we conceded somewhere around the 70 mark last year. well if we are stronger defensively and concede say 50 goals we don't actually have to score as many to win games. Losing your best player, for me doesn't necessarily mean you are worse. Providing we re invest. The problem comes when you don't reinvest that money and try and plug the gap by signing a second rate siggy. Are there better players though for our budget? Losing Gylfi means we need to replace his goals, his assists and his work rate. I can't think of any AMs that put in a shift like he does.
