Ok, to the point...
I am after having time to think, quite angry with our Chairman this morning, having slept on it. Oh don't worry it certainly didn't keep me awake.
You all know I've tried my utmost over the years, to make this a Scally abuse free zone, while at the same time he has to sometimes expect constructive critcism.
So why am I angry...
I actually had some sympathy with the guy over the abuse he gets from the supporters. I even said so in the other thread, highlighting my disgust at the behaviour of fans I had not seen before after the Dover FA Cup game - it sadly left a lasting unpleasant scar on my memory, for deeper reasons than I will go into on here.
However, I did go on to say in my comment, that the Chairman does not endear himself to the fanbase. He's also entitled to his opinion, and like us free to air it publically, I have no problem with that.
Yet, as I also said he fails to interact with us in the same way the Posh Chairman does with his 'customers' (had to throw in an alwaysright word there).
So what happens, the Chairman writes a redemption letter, then in the next breath, he employs Steve Evans.
I mean WTF (look that abbreviation up if you don't know what it means) - EVERY supporter predicted Evans was coming in when Lovell abruptly departed without getting a proper send off, in the eyes of the fans.
It happened the same with MadDogs departure most of us had predicted Taylor was coming in and what a shambles that finished, I couldn't wait for him to walk out the door to never come back again.
It's like a politician during Brexit, hide one bad news behind another. Personally I don't care it sucks.
Mr Chairman can I please ask one thing, because I believe I know Evans better than you, even if not personally - If you do decide to leave, take your new appointment with you.
As Newport County and AFC Wimbledon have proved, we can rebuild a club with or without you.
