Tbh i think the fabregas-ramsey combo in the centre of midfield could work well with a simple tactical aproach for them to follow i am happy with both of there defensive and attacking capabilities in the big games i would like to see us going to a 4-3-3 with ozil getting dropped and having flamini as the pivot to simply win the ball and pass to fab or rambo and in all the other games play 4-2-3-1 with ramsey and fabregas alternating when it comes to sitting back and going foward with ozil at the top playing those lovely balls to the wingers and striker.

I don't see the either/or in this discussion over Ozil and Fabregas either.

Arteta, Rosicky, Diaby, Kallstrom; they are all doubts or getting over the hill. I like them all, but Fabregas would be an upgrade on all of them next year.

Don't see the problem, plenty of room for all. At this point of the year, think about the squad, worry about the first XI later.

So good a point you said it twice... Exactly what I thought though. The immediate position I thought he'd take would be Arteta's. Like him though I do Mikki is coming to the end of his career and pace ain't his friend. Throw in that Kallstrom is going back and that's exactly the same number of personal, just with a serious upgrade. I think people are forgetting that when Arteta and Ramsey play together we're actually quite solid, thanks largely to Aaron's energy and Arteta's discipline. I see zero reasons why Fab couldn't do the same role and you'd still have your bruiser in Flamini for when the need arises (and it will).
