2 of the 3 did themselves to be honest. He didn't sell anyone that was on high wages he let all their contracts expire. Not sure that's worth the credit many are giving him, especially as he alienated many of them, and we didn't even see them play at the back end of their contracts. We literally paid them for nothing....
The last one I will give him , although it's hardly exhaust fumes, and still a lot more than quite a few clubs in this division.
For me, where he's been let down and is right to be aggrieved is, not being able to reinvest the Alex Scott money.

The rough value and last season was likely to be Scott’s last was pretty well documented everywhere.. so everybody knew it was coming.. and in all fairness I don’t think we heard anything from the suits or Nige that the proceeds would be used to strengthen the squad..
We now know that for us it’s all down to wages..
Nige is not stupid and would have known all about it..
