Two 6 million cb's easy , christ do people honestly rate these as consistent premiership starters ?

We will get at least one CB before the transfer window closes, don't worry about it.In a perfect world we would already have Ramirez,Phillips and two CB's by now, but we haven't and that's life.
We've got no pressure to win tomorrow and that will help us play better, I think.

Kompany isn't the quickest defender in the world, same with Vidic and a host of other defenders.

A cb doesn't really need pace. Full backs do because they need to get back into position, a cb with more pace than the average cb will still not be as quick as the likes of Aguero so pace isn't a key quality you look for in a cb.

I concur that pace is probably not that important for a CB, but I think what he's trying to say is that, in the PL a CB still needs to have more pace than a CB in the lower leagues and it's possible that these to could be found wanting, after the step up.

I think comparing. Kompany to our defenders is futile quite like Vidic , resistance is also futile and it's sounds better than your view is futile as well as it sounds incorrect .

Fonte had a great game against City. The stand out best defender by a country mile for me. We need to stick with what we've got now I think. Would like to see a top LB signed instead of Fox, also I prefer Richardson over Clyne but can't do much about that

What does Clyne have over Richardson other than pace? Richardson offers way more in attack with such a good cross, and his positioning is better defensively. He got about 10 assists last season. Richardson will always be underrated though as he isn't flashy and doesn't have pace to burn. I can't do much about that.
He made 2 errors yesterday Richardson wouldn't have made that cost us goals.
