Celtic manager Neil Lennon expects to make changes to his team for the Scottish League Cup visit by Morton.
Midfielders Beram Kayal, Joe Ledley and James Forrest remain absent along with long-term victim Steven Mouyokolo.
Morton are again without Thomas O'Ware, who has a foot injury, and fellow midfielder Joe McKee.
Forward Dougie Imrie is back in manager Allan Moore's plans despite being substituted at half-time in their 2-0 defeat by Queen of the South.
That loss left the Greenock side second bottom of the Championship table as they look to win at Celtic Park for the first time since 1971.
Celtic, who defeated St Johnstone on Saturday to move level on points with Premiership leaders Inverness Caledonian thistle, are likely to rest some players following their Champions League exertions.
Celtic manager Neil Lennon : "If the game had been on Sunday, it would have given us a lot more time to prepare properly.
"What we have to be aware of is injuries. With only a two-day recovery from a Champions League game, you have a 40 to 50 per cent better chance of picking up more injuries than with a three-day recovery, so we are looking at that as well.
"I will use my squad, but it is a competition I want to progress in.
"I would like to keep the momentum going. The players are playing well, but I have to strike a balance in terms of resting players and giving other players a chance to play.
"There are a few players who will need a break and we will change the team from the weekend, but they won't be drastic changes and we will treat Morton with the respect they deserve."
Morton manager Allan Moore : "I had wanted us to be heading to face Celtic with a good run of form behind us, but that is not the case.
"However, it is a game that we do not have to lift ourselves for and that can only help."
Second string side should be out - I can foresee a shocking early goal from the 'ton but we squeeze them out 3-1.
