Van mate.

 

My observation is the current go to car is an older version of Mercedes C or E class.

Definitely not BMW.

 

They all love their Mercedes round here. Younger ones like a jap car.

I think blokes are allowed to glean pleasure from their motor. If it puts a smile on you face whilst driving it then buy it. If you think it’s a sexy motor buy it. **** what anyone else thinks.

I have to find a motor aesthetically pleasing though it’s not necessarily about how fast it goes but the sound of the engine. Which is why 4 pot engines are boring.

 

Which is why I think Alfa Romeos are one of the best looking car brands...not bothered about speed either

 

Ive been eying up a Alfa guila. They’re bloody lovely. Though seem to be a bit under powered in the diesel.

 

I used to go out with a Pakistani girl when I was at university. Her old man used to drive this massive Nissan People carrier with loads of fabric decorations on the dash.

And what’s with that decorative tissue box thing ? My girl used to get embarrassed about that and laugh it off, she was like ‘yeah, they are popular with my people’

 

Probably my next car, one of these, cheap and cheerful.

mused to really want one of those when I was about 20. They handle well though have no power. You’d be better off in a Mr2 they were a bit better.

 

I only drive to work and back mate. 140 or 178 bhp is plenty enough.

Been and test drove a 15 plate 330d msport.

was rather nice. Also took a 125msport

not sure I can go that small. Though the spec on the 1 series was ****.
