They haven't a clue how to get the best out of him...and no I don't think its hoofing it forward at every opportunity. But the way they do, its as if he and everyone else has forgotten he was capable of goals like this

Didn't need time at Newcastle. Funny that. Liverpool fans will have to comfort themselves with the thought that all he needs is time. Or come to the realisation that the team will have to change the way they play to accommodate him.

wonder if he will be compared to Heskey someday

You'd think AC had changed his job or something. He's still playing football, he should know what to do by now.

Needs time?? Just means one of the dirty bindippers is gettin him a watch for xmas!

£30odd million in ya pocket...Carroll or Aguero, Carroll or Aguero?? Hmmm...bindippers robbed...makes a nice change!!

He's never looked quite the same since that injury, and although I think people have overplayed his hard-drinking lifestyle and its impact on the pitch, it's always going to exacerbate things when they're not going well. People are inevitably going to pile the pressure on if they see you out getting hammered when you're playing **** after a 35 million quid spent on you.

For us he was good on the ground, and while not blessed with natural pace had such strength and power that players just bounced off him. He just looks sluggish and weak for Liverpool. Agent Andy <laugh>

We've seen glimpses of his real talent and I know one of the Liverpool fans, a very good poster on here, has seen enough to rate him so all is not lost yet. Having seen how good he was for us in the second half of the Championship season and in the Premiership, I'm going to say that he'll come good eventually. Until then we have every right to laugh it up. Shame they got Enrique for such a small fee though, kind of puts a little tear in with my laughter :(

Interesting tidbit I found:

720 minutes since Rooney's last goal.
620 minutes since Suarez's last goal.
455 minutes since Torres' last goal

Carroll needs to be playing regularly, until he is, and I mean starting, then it's not going to happen.

I can't enjoy these threads that want to have a pop at Carroll & Liverpool's transfer fund.

Yes, we've done well to get £35m for him on the evidence of what he's shown thus far at the bin-dippers, but he's a class player - we all know this, we've seen it first-hand.

When Andy Carroll is firing on full power, he's almost unstoppable - I hope he does find his form again and gets back into the England team... although i'm not going pretend I want to see Liverpool do well. Perhaps we should buy him back for £20m? <whistle>...
