Liverpool obviously going with the logic that they wont ever sell him, and if they do it will be because he flopped and there wouldnt be much of a fee. If he does reach the preposterous heights the media will predict from him then we'll get a tidy sum when he ends up at a good club.
I dont know if I'd rather see, and contribute to, the worst reception ever received or find out that the injury he has really is like Woodgate's and he still hasn't played for them next season

You also have to look at it as ã35K a week off our books for an injure player who is now getting paid ã80K a week to be injured. So we've saved about half a million in wages
