Cardiff's Mark Hudson and Rudy Gestede could return to contention after they recovered from hamstring injuries.

Tom Heaton will compete with David Marshall for a place in goal, after Heaton took over the gloves for the League Cup victory over Blackburn.

Stephen Carr and Liam Ridgewell face late fitness tests after both missed Birmingham's trip to Braga in midweek.

Carr missed the trip to Portugal after struggling with a sore knee, while Ridgewell has a thigh problem.

If Hudson is fit my team would be;-

Marshall

McNaughton Hudson Turner Taylor

Cowie McPhail Whitts Gunnersson Conway

Miller

Subs Heaton, Gerrard, Kiss, Mason, Earnshaw

yea, the only possible change is kiss for mcphail but apart from that its a settled team i expect 3 points..

Far too early to call this a season defining game, but what an opportunity to put pressure on the top two, or at the very least, sustain a strong play off position. Great results all round except for the Wurzles losing in the last minute.
I guess the law of averages would suggest we're due a loss, but I really hope it isn't this one.
C'mon Bluebirds.

A big game this. With their games in hand, they could catch us as things stand, though their form of late hasn't been great. I'd take a draw, but am hoping for a win.

Very important we win this one, especially as Brum have 3 games in hand over us, and if they win them all would actually place them ahead of us in the league. A win is a must.

For those of you who can't get to the game, full coverage is available on Radio 5live sports extra.

Taylor injured. Naylor booked already. Burke not had the ball really so nor sure how he'll fare. With Naylor on a booking, I hope Burke doesn't get the ball!

Sounds as if things haven't settled down yet. A couple of 1/2 chances at each end but no real pattern.

Looks like its just me and you on here Taff.

Ralls on with the Gunnar injured.

Still sounds very even.

Gerrard off now. Nice to have Hudson to come on.

2 subs already doesn't give us much options for attacking changes at the end of the game if we're chasing a winner!

Still with me then Taff.

I hope we shut up shop. I've got us 1-0 in the prediction league.

Since we've gone 451 since the early season 442 he's really shown his worth. Saying that, I think we are 442 now Mason is on. Our fitness is showing again, especially against 10 men.
