Can't see us staying up after that. Ole doesn't know who his best team is and to keep changing it at this stage of the season is no good. I've no doubt that a well organised team under Malky wouldn't have lost that 4-0.

Honest question. Do you recon Mr Impetuous Tan will honestly stick with OGS if this continues? Will he follow the Tash from Fulhams lead and get rid quickly?
I cant say I have seen enough of you play to evaluate Ole as a manager, but what I have seen aint great and I also see the stats (especially the ones that count) and the results...they would put pressure on even the most proven Prem manager.

I'm glad the hull fans have said that. With the ball we played well first half. I said on here the other day our biggest problem is the goals were conceding rather than the blunt attack.
We have to find a way of keeping clean sheets and if that means a more negative selection we have to do it. We will not out score keegan style anyone in this league.
Fabio is ****. Taylor is just about a championship player, caulker was **** today! He backed off Long all game. Between him and cala they let Hull pick out the only player in the box 3 times. Twice for goals and one for the moment before the first goal. That's not good enough.
Campbell ran around a lot but he was absolutely terrible. Zaha doesn't work and won't put a foot in but he's dangerous and once again was involved in most of our best moments first half. We should play him off Jones IMO.
Plus points were Eikrem having a decent first half except one slip and getting home much quicker than usual because everyone had already f**ked off

We just seem incapable of scoring. I know most of the players we've let go have gone down a level or two, but all of them seem to be scoring. Even Brayford got one today.

Agree with most of the above but McGregor was only doing what he is paid to do. Nothing special at all in that. Also that was some save by the Cardiff keeper from Jelavic before Huddlestone potted the rebound with the help of a deflection, granted.
Consolation ? Two of the four goals conceded today were contenders for 'goal of the month' at least.

Caulker is having to cover for Fabio's utter ineptitude. Ole seems to think that this is a preseason tour where he have some time to experiment and 'give everyone a crack at the whip'. Whatever went on behind the scenes with Malky, it seems clear to me (as it was at the time) that we would not have been in bottom place had he remained in charge. We need Bellamy, Much and Medel back pronto, but that's not going to happen. For some strange reason (the table's state I suppose) I still think we can stay up. A triumph of optimism ....
Well pleased with the win today obviously, but I do hope you guys stay up. I have such fond and emotional memories of our match last year on May 4th when we secured promotion, (made even better by Cardiff fans staying back and joining in the celebration). It also turned out to be the last game I'd go to with my Dad although I had no idea at the time, hence the additional emotion involved (but that's another story). Also as we both have crackpot owners there seems to be mutual support between the two clubs.

No disrespect to Hull who deserved there win today because they played as a unit, everyone knowing there role and sticking to the script, but how can we go from beating Man City to losing so heavily to a bottom half rival? I don't care what anyone on this board say's to the contrary, the acrimony left from sacking our last manager and the embarrassing way in which this club conducts itself at board level is destroying everything that was being built at the start of the season. I think that starting line up with 2 wingers, a FB who can't defend and 2 strikers is just too open. It's the sort of set up we should be using for 20 minutes when we need a goal.

The only things you guys lacked today was finishing. As a thought can you purchase someone that currently isn't playing? If so, someone should call Ivan "The Killer" Klasnic. Pick him up for close to nothing and would have finished 25% around the net.

It happens though - it's football. We lost at home to Crystal Palace when they were rooted at the bottom of the table and followed it up the next week by beating Liverpool. We beat Fulham 6-0 and then shortly after weakly lost successive games to Norwich and Palace, (again - they bloody doubled us!). There'll be twists and turns yet and I hope we both stay up.

Obviously the side shows don't help, but in the same way we can be 6 pointed by Palace but destroy Liverpool (3-1 before Xmas should have been 4 or 5 easily but for poor final decisions in the last 10-15 minutes). If we had players that could do it week in week out then they'd have been bought by the big clubs in January.

The reality of the situation is your manager is getting used to all the players , the new players are getting used to old players , your a win away from safety and you have 11 games left . Nothing to fear really , than fear itself , as they say . You just didn 't have them by the tail today .
ITI, i said before we create as many chances in one game under OGS that we did in about 3-4 games under mackay. today we came up against a team that came to defend in numbers and counter attack. they scored every time they attacked, they were clinical. they even had 10 men behind the ball at 90 minutes FFS, even a team with more cutting edge will struggle against 10 men behind the ball.
i know i'm clutching at straws a bit, but it was anything but a 4-0 thrashing. look a the stats, we had all the play and created numerous chances, just failed to take them.
hull knew we had to go out and win the game today, so they soaked up the pressure and countered, they could afford to do that today, we couldnt.

Just watched highlights on MOD and what was so noticeable was the amount of space hull had to play with. there was huge gaps everywhere all over the pitch, Ole needs to sort that out or it wont matter how much possession you get. your wide open for the opposition to score loads of goals even if you look the better side...

Perhaps my earlier question wasn't so irrelevent. I hope for your sakes Tan isnt interfering in the dressing room again as this suggests. It didnt end well for the manager the last time he did it.
