You gotta love how deluded Leeds fans are about how big (or not) their club is I sort of admire the fact they think they are one of the biggest clubs in England, when in reality

• They haven't been in the top division for over 16 years
• They haven't won the top division for nearly 20 years, and almost a 20-year gap to their previous title win before that
• Not won a domestic cup in almost 50 years
• Will be the 11th best-supported side in the Premier League next season

None of that smacks of being a 'Massive' club, like their fans think they are

Was pointless giving you them 4 pitty points, it just made you think you were better than you are, and led to the home tanking by Fulham, would have been better letting you finish mid table.

 

when they rebuild this time I hope they get a qualified pilot to do the job.

 

I was under no illusion we’d be tanked by Fulham. We’d have had a better chance v Brentford given they’ve gone into a tailspin but to reach the top 6 with our squad deserves

As for Leeds they’ll do ok next season given there’ll be the usual relegation candidates for them to play in a bottom 6-7 mini league.

Glad to see Brentford have got that red card overturned. A yellow at worst, but it was never a red.

Damage was done to them by Stroud giving it in the first place - they dropped back because of it and let Swansea come on to them.

The return game will probably see the game decided by another lucky break. Who said what goes around comes around? Brentford's turn?

 

I expected from the outset that it would be a Fulham vs Brentford final even before Forest fell out of the playoffs on the final day, and that would be fair as they were both very good this season. I think Fulham have one-foot firmly there (but you never know...), but Brentford needs to quickly dispatch this losing run they have been on.

 

It seems a foregone conclusion that at least Fulham of those two will be at Wembley. Brentford would be my preference for the other one and that's nothing to do with Streaky Swansea being the opposition. I've enjoyed Brentford's football this season and they deserve it on merit - but the playoffs can be cruel.

I will say however, if we manage to get the first goal at Craven Cottage, then there'll be a few squeaky bums up there and they wont be wearing blue.
